“Bosques Petrificados de Jaramillo” National Park is located at Jaramillo, in the province of Santa Cruz. It covers 63,543 acres and belongs to the Patagonian Steppe ecoregion. In addition to these acres, there are 15,000 acres belonging to the “Bosques Petrificados” Natural Monument, which totals 78,543 acres. It protects the remarkable fossil flora bank. It was established in 1954. Admission is free.
