Paragliding and gliding<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the province of R\u00edo Negro, \u201cCerro Catedral,\u201d \u201cCerro Otto,\u201d the \u201cAnfiteatro,\u201d and the surrounding areas of lake Puelo and \u201cCerro Piltriquitr\u00f3n\u201d in El Bols\u00f3n offer ideal weather conditions for the adventure of paragliding during the summer. Villa Traful, San Mart\u00edn de los Andes, Alumin\u00e9, and Chos Malal in Neuqu\u00e9n invite aerial adventurers to try their hand at paragliding and gliding at the \u201cAero Club de los Andes.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Climbing the Andes, mountaineering and ascent to high peaks<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For the most experienced adventurers, one option is the Argentine peak of \u201cCerro Tronador,\u201d between December and March, in the province of R\u00edo Negro. Rappelling and climbing<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cCerro Catedral,\u201d \u201cCerro Otto,\u201d and \u201cCerro L\u00f3pez\u201d on the outskirts of San Carlos de Bariloche, and \u201cSierras Grandes\u201d in the province of R\u00edo Negro; the cliffs of the City of Neuqu\u00e9n; the mighty walls of San Mart\u00edn de los Andes, Jun\u00edn de los Andes, Villa Pehuenia, and Villa El Choc\u00f3n in Neuqu\u00e9n, and the Piedra Parada Protected Natural Area in Chubut invite rappelling and rock climbing lovers to discover the most impressive landscapes of Argentine Patagonia. Climbing activities are available in the mountains of the Lihu\u00e9 Calel National Park in La Pampa.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Rafting, kayaking and canoeing<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Rafting in the Alumin\u00e9, Ruca Choroy, and Huam Hum rivers, with their varying degrees of difficulty on rides surrounded by rocks, mountains, and the incredible Valdivian rainforest, awakens visitors’ adrenaline in Neuqu\u00e9n. Strong emotions and easy rides are combined on trips along the Limay, Manso, and Azul rivers in the province of R\u00edo Negro. In Chubut, the Corcovado river is an ideal spot for rafting, with excursions tailored to different difficulties. In Santa Cruz, \u201cRio de las Vueltas\u201d in El Chalt\u00e9n is an ideal spot for rafting.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For kayaking, nothing beats the legendary Beagle Channel and lake Roca near the end of the world in Ushuaia, the mighty \u201cNegro\u201d river, and the beauty of lake Nahuel Huapi in the province of R\u00edo Negro. In Chubut, you can explore the waters of the gulfs in Puerto Madryn and Puerto Pir\u00e1mides, the winding Chubut river in Los Altares and Piedra Parada, and the crystal-clear waters of lake Puelo National Park (PN \u2013 \u201cParque Nacional\u201d).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Limay river, the Chimehu\u00edn river, the splendid lake Lacar in Neuqu\u00e9n, and the Lapataia Bay in Tierra del Fuego also offer canoeing among magical landscapes. Along its entire course, the \u201cNegro\u201d river offers canoeing and other nautical activities in a beautiful natural environment that can be enjoyed year-round. In La Pampa, the Colorado river provides the setting for canoeing and outings that are organized from the localities of La Adela, Gobernador Duval, and Casa de Piedra.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On the Atlantic coast in Puerto Madryn, Playa Uni\u00f3n, and Rada Tilly in the province of Chubut, and on the expansive beaches of Las Grutas, El C\u00f3ndor, and Playas Doradas in the province of R\u00edo Negro, vacationers enjoy windsurfing and surfing in the waters of Patagonia. Adrenaline rushes, at every step, in fascinating circuits between the Andes Mountain Range and the Atlantic Ocean. Crossing the plains and the Pampas cliffs from side to side, going deep into trails that run through lenga and myrtle forests, reaching remote beaches, salt flats, and dunes, crossing bridges and rushing rivers, you can discover the most incredible corners while riding horses, on bicycles adapted for Patagonian surfaces, or in modern 4×4 safari vehicles.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
