About Patagonia<\/h1>\r\n

Argentine Patagonia is a vast territory steeped in mystery, generating a powerful magnetism and possessing an incredible power of seduction, capable of captivating anyone who approaches these places and allows themselves to be embraced by the immensity of its horizons, surrendering to such a powerful demonstration of how small we are in the face of the sublime majesty of nature.<\/p>\r\n

Enigmatic like few other regions in the world, Patagonia poses its first challenge when trying to decipher the origin of its name. There are various versions of the origin that point to Magellan as the originator. One of them refers to the navigator’s observation of the large footprints made by the Tehuelches, the native people of the region, who were characterized by their strong build and remarkable height.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n

Another speculation is that Magellan used the term \u201cPatagon\u201d in reference to a literary monster, a character in a well-known medieval novel.<\/p>\r\n
