The energy of the volcano in Neuquén

High-temperature waters emerge from the earth at the Copahue Hot Springs, at the foot of the Copahue volcano in the province of Neuquén. Amidst an incredible landscape filled with ancient araucaria trees, the internationally recognized qualities of its waters and mud have a powerful energizing effect for the body and a relaxing effect for the mind. The Copahue-Caviahue thermal center offers various massage, mud therapy, and hydromassage treatments, as well as kinesiology and specialized gyms to provide health, relaxation, and beauty to its visitors. In the north of the province, the Domuyo hot springs offer their healing waters, and the Epulafquen hot springs are in the south, near Junín de los Andes. The ideal time to enjoy the hot springs in Neuquén is between November and May, although in winter, Copahue maintains the “Laguna del Chancho” and steam baths, offering a relaxing experience amidst the snowy surroundings.
