“Los Glaciares” National Park is located in the southwest of the province of Santa Cruz. It covers an area of 726,927 acres and was created to preserve a large area of continental ice and glaciers, of the southern Andean-Patagonian forest, and samples of the Patagonian steppe. It is the largest park in the Argentine National System of Protected Areas. It was created in 1937. An admission fee is charged; please inquire at the National Park for rates.
