Perito Moreno National Park is located in the central west of the province of Santa Cruz, in the Río Chico district, 220 km northwest of the locality of Gobernador Gregores. It covers an area of 141,830 acres, part of the Patagonian Steppe and Patagonian Forest ecoregions. It was created in 1937. Admission is free.
